“ I ate dinner on the patio yesterday evening, and I'd definitely go back. I had the pulled pork sandwich (very good!) and a zucchini appetizer (light breading so you can taste the squash, yeah!). The service was great and the bathroom was very clean. Next time I'd like to try those ribs! ”
“ Okay so here it is... Recently visited Chileen's On 17. Clearly we've ALL, most of us, have heard about them on "Bar Rescue". Move on already... Chilleen's is no longer what they were known for. Let's focus on the now. First time here and from the time you pull up you can smell it. YES! Pure "deliciousness". Your mouth waters and the hard part is being able to stay focused. As you wait to be seated and ALL of this "deliciousness" served to other customers. How do you know when a restaurant is truly AMAZING? Answer: No one is talking while their eating! I started with potato skins and burnt ends as an appetizer. "Lord have mercy". The potato skins were average, not great, but average. The burnt ends though... My apologies my mouth just started watering again. Having flashbacks of "deliciousness". Went with a group who are "familiars". They tried to warn me about the burnt ends, I didn't listen. WORTH IT!!! Ordered the Steak, with Corn on the Cob, Mac N' Cheese, loaded baked potato. Then Country Fried Steak with mashed taters and gravy, and more Mac N Cheese; "Don't judge me f**kers". And YES I ordered more burnt ends too!!! Finished off with a dessert of my servers choice. Wow... The sides were average, not GREAT, and not bad average. Now the Meat... That's another story. Y'all already know about the burnt ends, that Country Fried Steak? That's made with L-O-V-E!!! Homemade!!! And the steak old school steak done right. Not over flavored on "infused", just right. Did I eat it all? "IT DOESN'T MATTER" IF Big Sid ATE ALL!!!! Mind your own business. Of course not!!! It didn't help that my AMAZING & STUNNING waitress Ms. Cindy, didn't make it easy on me. "You gotta try this. You gotta try that. Oh you absolutely gotta try this". And I did, hence dual entrees, dual appetizers, and gosh darn dessert! What's worse, Big Sid had to drive back to town FREAKING FULL!!! Overall Chileen's On 17 is locally owned and worth the drive. Go enjoy a good meal with people you care about. "I'll be back", hope to see y'all there. Sincerely Full, Big Sid, Proud USMC Veteran ”
“ A great stop on our way to the Grand Canyon. Staff and food were great! Live music and a fun atmosphere. ”
“ Service and food were fantastic! Clean and comfortable environment! Natalie our waitress was amazing! Would definitely recommend for awesome bbq! ”
“ The food, all of it, is scrumptious. The service is impeccable! The ambience is welcoming and caring surrounded by Arizona mountains. ”
“ Many many times my family has passed this amazing place with my husband pointing at it saying over and over again "we've gotta go there". Ten+ years later he and I finally stopped and we weren't disappointed! The place has the typical rustic feeling for Arizona and everyone was so inviting and nice. I started with a Bar Rescue Fire Punch for my drink. Ok I didn't realize this place had been on Bar Rescue lol. Anyway, I was expecting punch but it's more like a sweet tea. With my mouth watering Pulled Pork Sandwich I got the Cherry Long Island Shiner which was great. But man I loved my sandwich and coleslaw. My husband loved his meal as well - he got the Brisket Sandwich and with a side of Green Chili Fries. After finishing his, he finished mine too! I think we'll be going there more often now! ”
“ We discovered Chilleen's on our way home, following an adventurous day trip to Flagstaff, and decided to stop by for dinner. Our party of 8 was welcomed by friendly staff and seated immediately. The restaurant had a warm western vibe, with nice country music to further complement the cozy atmosphere. We ordered several dishes which included many BBQ options. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The ribs fell off the bone, the brisket was moist and tender, and the sauce was rich and delicious. Kudos to the Chef for excellent work. Our food was cooked to perfection and had great depth of flavor. Our server Hannah was very friendly, professional and a pleasure to interact with for the duration of our visit. I would definitely visit again and highly recommend! ”
“ 3.5 stars. Solid for out in the middle of nowhere. Nice decor. Ribs were good. Potatoes a little plain. Chicken was decent. Wouldn't come out of my way but would eat here again. ”
“ I have been wanting to come here for 11 years, ever since the Bar Rescue episode aired The place still looks immaculate inside My wife and I had the fortunate occasion to be done early (she rides with me on Mondays and Tuesdays}, and they have plenty of room for a semi truck We ordered the Chille-En Chips Cooked in house tortilla chips served with their famous pork based green chili dip The chips came out hot and fresh, and the chili dip has intense green chili flavor, good heat, and large chunks of pork You can get the chilli with a fresh tortilla, or over fries We ordered the 13oz Top Sirloin, medium, with grilled zucchini, and mac and cheese The steak was perfectly cooked, well seasoned, albeit slightly tough, the zucchini was tender but needed salt, the mac and cheese felt kinda generic We also ordered burnt ends to go, I will try to update my review when we try them The proportions were solid, presentation good Service was excellent, Kylie was attentive, all our orders came extremely promptly We live almost 50 miles away so returning isn't very likely unless this scenario happens again, and if we do I'll get the filet, my wife wants to try their burgers 8/10, would recommend ”
